ABOUT THIS WORK:

In the year 2022,

was the year my Dad passed away.

It ripped my heart apart.

It ripped the floor out from under my feet.

Still in the process of grief, sometimes quiet and hidden, I had the urge to work on that project.

We will all face it: GRIEF. And yet we don't speak about it often—another taboo in our society.

I want to break the barriers.

Let's talk about it.

First time back to the ocean. Alone.
